Foreign nationals can also prepare the PoA on a plain paper with the help of any lawyer/legal expert.

However, before submitting it to the Consulate, the PoA is mandatorily required to be notarized and attested by the district Court in the states of Hamburg, Bremen, Schleswig-Holstein and Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) before attestation by the Consulate.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. 1. Applicants residing under the jurisdiction of this Consulate should select their applicable service and submit the exact Total Amount in Consulate General of India Hamburg’s Bank account. The transfer should be done at least 2-3 working days before submission of application in person and proof of payment should be submitted with applications. Payment should also be done at the counter of the Consulate through Debit Cards and in Cash.

  2. 2. While depositing the amount in Consulate’s Bank account, applicants should provide the following information in “Payment Description/Verwendungszweck” mandatorily: Name of Applicant or Firm; Application Reference No. (if available); Service Applied For.
  1. 3. The application shall be processed at the earliest on receipt of the Fee in Consulate’s Bank account.
  1. 4. No Service shall be provided in case the Fee is deposited or transferred to any other Bank Accounts.
